Getting a text message everytime I have a voicemail or have listened to a voicemail.

Everytime I get a voicemail I get a text message saying my total text messages, unread and read. Then when I listen to the voicemail, I get another text say that I listened to it. Very annoying.

It seems to have started when I put the windows SMS on the phone instead of Arcsoft. My touch pro2 that I just had activated does not do this.

Any ideas?

I'd say it is something to do with the way that LG has voicemail set up on the phone. Windows SMS ties in nicely with the voicemail service, and I feel it's just a registry key that I haven't found yet.
It's not too annoying, but annoying enough.
I'll see what I can find sometime soon.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI\
specifically HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI:VoiceMailAccountName
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\UI:VoiceMailClassName

Delete the two keys pertaining to VoiceMail and see what happens. I did some dirty testing and it seems to work.

That's odd, I don't have either one of those keys in my UI. I looked all over under Arcsoft and couldn't find anything with voicemail. I think we have two different versions. I have the 5.2.12.45 threaded version.
