Re: Drellisdee WM6.5 PPC Kitchen

Does anyone else get the:

"A secure Socket Layer (SSL) connection could not be established"

It's for my gmail account and I seem to only get the message with the screen off. It works fine when on???

Re: Drellisdee WM6.5 PPC Kitchen

I get no such error on gmail. However, Im on Vzw but dont see how carrier might effect that. Are you using pop3 or imap? I use 2 Gmail Imap accounts with no problem a pop3 (non gmail) and direct push on exchange.

Re: Drellisdee WM6.5 PPC Kitchen

Good it can work I was losing hope! I'm using IMAP, set up exactly the same as in 6.1 (with zero problems). I did figure out I can even trigger it by opening Gmail, hitting send/recieve and then turning off the screen with the button on top. It will beep and when I turn the screen back on the message is there.

Re: Drellisdee WM6.5 PPC Kitchen

Sounds like a power/backlight reg issue. Check settings maybe you are killing connection at powerout? Are you using nuecpl plus regular power/backlight? Or maybe something in the sprint mxip_oemoperators which do contain power/backlight registry settings may not be playing nice with power cpl or wm6.5

Re: Drellisdee WM6.5 PPC Kitchen

Thanks. This rom's pretty bare. I'm not using nuecpl. I'm wondering if it's the Raphael advanced power management???? I can't keep track which ones had which anymore. Will try another tomorrow without. Thanks
