You have to boot the phone into bootloader mode, with the file loaded onto the memory card, and then you will see the loading. At this point you cannot flash a rom with a pc.

"You have to boot the phone into bootloader mode, with the file loaded onto the memory card, and then you will see the loading. At this point you cannot flash a rom with a pc. "

- I did this... In fact I took out my memory card and reformatted through vista to Fat32. Then loaded the file onto my memory card & nothing...

What am I doing wrong??? ANy ideas?

Im concerned it may have something to do with my previous unlocker == it still reads vogu100 SPL 2.01.1000
CPLD-3.

I will retry the steps but if anyne could help I would appreciate it?? I am getting a bit nervous here.... In fact very nervous.

Is there a hard reset involved. Do I reconnect my phone to the pc??

Thanks in advance!

batman31,

I attached the voguimg.nbh to the first thread try that file, and see if you see tat file works. An then you have to extract the original sprint rom (using winrar), and rename it to VOGUIMG.nbh and copy it to your phone. The put your phone back into bootloader mode to flash back to the original Sprint rom.

Re: Unbricking Vogue / and downgrading SPL

Just to be clear bootloader mode is = power button + camera button plus soft reset button?

Or are you referring to a hard reset = soft reset and both soft keys??

Thanks for being so patient....

Re: Unbricking Vogue / and downgrading SPL

I finished the first few steps. I don't want to grab the wrong "official rom" On the official ROM thread there's two. One that's just the OS and the shipped version. Which do I use?

Re: Unbricking Vogue / and downgrading SPL

SO I tried it with the new file... and nothing!

I copied your file to my microsd card - then tried to load bootloader. No loading image??

Then I copied th original file from sprint renamed it and copied to my microsd card - and still nothing??

I think I might be confused with the actual bootloader set? If I do a hard reset I dont see loading but I do see "restoring" button??

Use the official shipped one, I posted the link below:

Correct, and if you copied and renamed the file correctly the screen will change to a grey color, and will display "loading " in text.
