Re: GPS Problem

Before you do that...install the PPST2.01.cab then run windows/ppst

Doesn't matter what ROM you flashed that should unlock the GPS.

Re: GPS Problem

I found that sometimes when the E911 location based service is toggled off, it causes problems with the GPS in other programs. I re-enabled it, made a phone call, then started the GPS program. That seemed to fix it. I was then able to toggle off the location based service in options without anymore problems.

Re: GPS Problem

Its some settings that are different in many roms. I have a telus touch pro - if I use the stock telus rom (even though it claims its unlocked), some of DCDs rom, and some of mighty's older roms, I dont get any GPS activity.

The fix has been to insstall the ppst file (even from another carrier, scary) and then to phone *22803 on my phone which lets me automagically reprogram and get a new roaming list.

If I don't do this then 4/5 roms wont give me any GPS reception.
