Re: I give up....
Well, my keyboard slider doesn't recognize that the keyboard is in. Where does that put that?
Face it. If enough people are complaining about TP hardware issues, then you have to admit there is some truth in this: TP has hardware issues! I am very gentle of all my stuff, and all the cell phones I have had before the TP still work to this day. I owned the TP for one month and guess what, it gets me hardware problems. Defend if you want. The TP hardware quality is garbage. |

I wouldn't say garbage but very bad at the least. I went through 4 TP in a month from bad referbs with dead keyboards to cracked chrome (corner of the chrome on screen fell off) HTC should at least acknowledge the fact they shipped out bad products to all carriers. But its about the cost and profit. Why tell customers that you have a product out that falls apart and needs constent repair, when you can just keep your mouth shut, sell the device and make a profit with each one you sell.

Man I've dropped mine several times and it's fine as the day I got it. I heard the Verizon one had better build quality though (maybe rumor), are most of these bad TP's non-Verizon?

Re: I give up....
Tru but Verizon has had its problems with the TP as well, and now now Alltel is shipping out Verizon TP's. Like I said It would be nice for a company to publicly say "Hey, we screwed up and sent out a product that needs constent technical support" but that will NEVER happen
