call recording

i understand there will be legal questions popping up, i've checked this site, and in my state, i can legally record phone conversations

i wanted to get that out of the way first. :-D
ok, on to business... i've read and read, here and on xda, about in-call-recording. i have tried a few. but no matter what i do, the other end of the call is still VERY soft. i was wondering if there was a tweak/program that i've missed, or am i not looking hard enough. or is the TP just not right for this?
i have read through probably 30+ pages in many threads on this subject. right now i just did a hard reset (to start from scratch) and still no luck.
i'm using the most current mighty6 rom.

any info would be great.

thanks,
-u

Have you read through the thread below?

If you tried everything and are still unsuccessful, you may need to go with a 6.1 ROM, they seem to have a higher compatibility with the call recording app.

I am running the stock Sprint ROM and ACR 1.2.2. is still exceedingly low in volume. Listen up close and you can hear it though.

You need a compatable wavedev.dll.

Attached is the one I use in my diamond, but not sure if it'll work in TP or not.

Re: call recording

well, found something that worked. figured i'd post the link to it here in case someone comes across this prob in the future.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=777353

i found it through this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=111
so credit goes there.

also, after you install it, you might want to either install the "muted" beep that it installs, or you can do like i did and use an audio editing progy on your puter to mute it.

thanks for your guys' help though! :-)
