there is a way but u have to be photoshop saavy..first u have to measure the size of the taskbar which I guess u can do by taking a screenshot and just cropping out the taskbar..next u take the bg image and from the top take the size of the taskbar out and save that as ur png file or whatever that will set as the bg for ur taskbar..next stretch ur bg image (without the top piece now) to the size its supposed to be and make it ur bg..now u have the bg image with the taskbar being the top of the bg image which is basically transparent, yep

would that actually work? could some one give feed back on that......i once had my manila on and had the top taskbar transparent but when i clicked the start it showed both tasksbars transparent i forget what rom i was using but if had the same theme picture or what ever for the manila the whole thing would look sick....i feel what he means!!!!!!!!!!!

No Curtains is what i used on WM 6.1, have not tested it on 6.5 as i use titanium so there has been no need, but here is the exact file i have always used.

NoCurtains.cab

the idea about cropping out a section of background for use as the png would work as well, youd just have to make sure you got it cropped correctly, down to the pixel, or else it would look funny.

yea of course , only problem is when ur not on the manila pages the top taskbar would have the main bg image the whole time but if u can deal with that then ur good.
