When charging, randomly disconnects from charge and turns off??

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue where I've got the TouchPro charging in a wall charger cord, then, with no reason or warning, the unit stops charging and turns off. I have an indicator in the Start bar that shows battery status and that too changes from the charging icon to a battery icon as though it's not being charged.

This is a random issue but seems to be happening more and more.

Not sure if it's related, but the Activesync connection if I have it plugged into the USB sync/charge cable to my PC, also sometimes disconnects at random times.

Is this like the issue with the Mogul with bad pins in the mini-USB connector?

I'm not sure about the turning off but I know that it'll stop charging if it starts to overheat. It does that as a safety precaution. When it does that, take the battery cover off and give it a good blow on the back. (breath not a hit!)

It's funny you say that, the battery is not hot, not at all, it's cool with a fan blowing directly from overhead on my desk where it's sitting.

I really do appreciate the insight.

Oh wow thats weird then. are you running stock rom? maybe if you try flashing one or doing a hard reset as a last resort it may fix that.
