well with the latest version of sashimi it will resume on the next cab after reboot by default. an basically you don't have to reset unless the cab forces it.

So, after a cab installs that needs asks if you want to soft reset, your phone will reset and then Sashimi will pick up where it left off? Am I understanding you correctly or am I way off? Sorry for being dumb!

yes if the phone gets rebooted for any reason before sashimi completes, it will pick up with the next item.
