Good program for recalibrating battery indicator?

I know there are a few threads dealing with battery life, but so far none of the suggestions Ive seen works.

I have my back light settings to one notch above "power save." Wifi, blue tooth and beam receive are all disabled. After a full nights charge I unplug the device and its immediately at 75%. I've tried to fix this problem by jacking up all he settings, and playing a video until the battery drains, rebooting and charging again. I've also tried the previous step with a hard reset before plugging it back in. I have 2 batteries, and it doesn't seem to work with either battery.

Before I bring this in to the Sprint repair center, I want to be sure its a phone issue and not a problem with Windows Mobile reading the battery incorrectly.

Perhaps there is a program that will give me an accurate reading of what my battery is really doing?

Thanks in advance. This is insanely frustrating and at this point I'm ready to ditch this thing for a Treo or Blackberry.

when in doubt, trying to rule out hardware, always flash a stock rom, if it's still broken stock, take it to the sprint store

Yeah, I never changed the rom. Forgot to mention that.

Mine seems to be a little out of whack too (85% vs 75%), I just let it run out (keeping it on after it starts yelling at me DANGER WILL ROBINSON, POWER IS LOW) and eventually it'll hit 0% and reset back to 60ish, charge full from there and it'll be normal for a few days.
