Re: TF3D: Adding a SECOND programs tab?

I'd like something like this as well. a side note, my TP had some hickup and has 19 shortcuts... has one all byitself on the bottom, if I could figure out how that happened maybe we can repeat the process to get more shortcuts

Re: TF3D: Adding a SECOND programs tab?

you can add 6 more buttons in the programs tab. originally i added 9 but the last 3 didn't do anything. i used total commander the went to:

HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\ProgramLauncher\

you'll see 18 folders (0-17), create a new folder and name it 18. then copy the files from any of the folders (0-17) into the folder 18. disable tf3d then enable it and you'll have a 19th button. repeat 5 more times to get 6 more total.

Re: TF3D: Adding a SECOND programs tab?

Do you have a folder labeled 100??? Maybe that's the phantom one i mentioned earlier, every time i added someting to it an new icon would show up. I deleted the 100, and tryed adding the rest. still no go, after deleting the one labeled 100, new icons arent created. Nothing will add though. I hope i get this figured out, been messing with it for the past 2 weeks and havn't really got anywhere.... Maybe i'm not useing the copy correcty, i don't find TC to user friendly, gonna try PHM Regedit and see if that works.

Re: TF3D: Adding a SECOND programs tab?

just checked and i don't have a folder 100. are you running a custom rom? im running kk's loaded rom v 1.8, not sure if the rom will make a difference though. have you tried a hard reset?

as for TC, im used to it, never used another editor. hopefully PHM will help. if i find or come up with something that can help you i'll post it. good luck!

Re: TF3D: Adding a SECOND programs tab?

Yeah, that one labeled 100 was weird, it showed up when i unistalled something and every time i hit it to add something a new icon would apear, but nothing would actually add. i deleted all the extras, and redid the process. BTW Starting to like TC now that i'm getting the hang of how to use it. but programs just won't show up. in the registry they will say the name and path corectly, but just still show the plus. I tried soft resets and disabling/ reenabling TF3D but no go. I don't need this bad enough to try a hard reset though. It might be a rom Issue, I'm on stock Sprint, so if anyone gets it to work on that, please reply back. Thanks guys.
