Remove touch screen?
I notice replacement touch screens (not the whole lcd, just the top layer) are pretty cheap on Ebay.
I hate dealing with screen protectors, trying to get them on perfectly and such... so I figured maybe just go without one for as long as you can and then swap out the top layer. Anyone know how hard it is to remove and replace the touch screen? |
Re: Remove touch screen?
I broked my screen ones, i had the exact same device with a working screen, i thought at first that i might could switch it, but, i was wrong, i think is extremally hard specially if you have no clue of what you doing, lol, i gave up.

I don't know about the top layer but the screen itself isn't that bad if you have ever done anything like that before

Re: Remove touch screen?
Link to the ebay? All I saw on ebay for digitizers were GSM ones, not ones that would fit Sprint pros.

What's the difference between the two? You mean the curved corners? |

And if not, is there no way to separate the top layer of plastic from the digitizer sheet itself? |

Re: Remove touch screen?
I'm sure it will plug in and work, but it won't match the body of the phone so it won't sit to the screen, plus it will look stupid if you botched it on or something.
