Re: [IDEA] Use Touch Pro as Wii Remote?

Many Wii Games don't use the IR sensor, only motion via Bluetooth. The only thing that requires the IR sensor is the initial screen when going through the Wii menu.

Re: [IDEA] Use Touch Pro as Wii Remote?

Technically, if you were insane about making your phone control the Wii, you could snip out a piece of film negative and tape it over the camera. The film negative acts as a visible light filter, allowing only the IR to come through. Then you can effectively emulate the Wiimote's IR sensor ability. The lag would probably be pretty bad though.

Re: [IDEA] Use Touch Pro as Wii Remote?

it woouldnt work.. the IR in a wii remote is exceddingly strong for being a video game controller.. anyone ever check out youtube for the wii remote into Whiteboard stuff? in theory is you could make a TP work for wii, the you could use ur TP for Whitboard presentaions...

you figure you cst even use as a desktop remote barely, so wii controller i think is def out of he question

Yes. But you'll need a MSM motherboard, ARM processor, 256MB of RAM, a video chip, GPS chip, USB adapter, digitizer, LCD, and CMOS camera.

Should be a piece of cake
