SMS Glitch with unread messages... do you have it?

there seems to be an issue with windows mobile core components that creates a problem when reading text messages, it doesn't mark them as unread unless you mark them manually or scroll over them in the threaded messaging window for each conversation. this is just a yes or no poll so we can find the root cause. if you post a result please include a reply with the rom version you are using and the CE OS version number along with it. i will tally up the results and we can narrow down the culprit.

i am running JD's rom CE OS verision number 20757 and i do currently have this issue.

I've only had this problem when running a custom rom. I'm back to the stock rom haven't had this issue yet.

there are already a ton of threads about this same thing. All ROM builds past 2xxxx have the text issues where they dont get marked as read.

stock is 19965. some of the custom ROMs already have moved to 20755 and 20924 which fall past that build mark

well wierd thing is if you look above there is someone running stock and having the problem...

I get the same thing now and again also (STOCK ROM). BUT, if you use TF3D, just go to the texting tab and have the unread message sit there for like 5 seconds and it makes it read. BAM little yellow marker disappears!

Exactly what I do and works for me, using stock rom. Have yet to see this issue on my phone in any text mode using stock.
