Re: Iphone interface
I agree it is a great step forward, but the crashes are annoying enough for me to wait for an official release (non-beta)

Re: Iphone interface
thats just it though, setting up the icons is what crashes it for me. I've tried things like google maps, contacts, calender, all crash it. whats up with that? also when i click the clock icon nothing happens.

BTW, why would you say alot of people will probably hate you for liking the iphone? IT is not like the iphone is the enemy. I probably would never switch (data plan too high) but it's a great device! It also has some really cool games. |

Re: Iphone interface
Only because I know there are some hardcore WM fans on here that are like that and like to say and start stuff soon as someone has something good to say about the Iphone.

Re: Iphone interface
yup. Without a doubt the iphone is probably the best thing to happen to the smartphone market... It just really accelerated development from WiMo phones to Blackberrys.

Re: Iphone interface
Some of my icons never get added because of the crashes.... and it's the ones I use the most. I'm not willing to go through 10 crashes in a row just to add 1 icon (i counted 9 critical ones I need/want)
As far as responsiveness being fixed by re-doing the OS.... I think this UI does increase the responsiveness... I must admit I am thoroughly impressed. I just cant stand the crashes. |
