sounds like a verizon problem as this doesn't happen on sprint... i've always receive messages over 160 and nobody's ever complained about getting an error... so either way, it's because of verizons network or their version of the pro... i'd say it's more about network though

ok well from what I have have gathered our phones are not receiving these messages because they do not support "enhanced messaging service." Now according to wikipedia (which is sketchy at best) EMS is an application level extension for SMS. So theoretically there should be a way to make our phones support EMS.

This has been attempted on th Q9c already but failed. http://cellphoneforums.net/motorola/...g-service.html

Anyone got any ideas for this?
