I assume you are talking about the small window you type in when you're replying to a text? Could you point me in the right direction? I keep searching but can't find anything. Thanks.

Re: Looking to increase Text Message window size

Is this what you're looking for?

Quote:
Open the directory 'Windows' and then click 'File' and choose 'Find Files'
Type 'Thread' into the box and it should find 'thread_sms.htm' after a few seconds.
With 'thread_sms.htm' highlighted click 'File' then 'Edit'.

Scroll down through the file until you find the line
'<Inbox:content id="COMPOSESUBJECT" width="98%" height=35'
Change the value for height from 35 to something more suitable. I did 50, but you can do more if you please.
Once you've done that click 'File' then 'Save'.
Now do a soft reset on the phone, and when it starts up your space for typing a message should be bigger
I changed the value 35 to 55 and it gives me 3 lines to type my reply.

Found more hacks in here.

Re: Looking to increase Text Message window size

Kamille, that was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much. It's one of the few problems I've had.

You need total commander to change the setting. Go to windows and look for thread_sms.htm file. Edit the section that says 35 to 70 and it will have larger text space.

Re: Looking to increase Text Message window size

Thanks. This deserves a bump.

One line was pretty annoying. This is a must-have edit for anyone who texts.
