Truly KILL Data on TP
Anyone know how to toggle data to off? On the Mogul I used Modaco Nodata to toggle an it would stay off. But on my Alltel TP NoData will toggle it off but if something tries to access data it automatically switches on. So right now I can toggle off with Nodata and comm manager but since it comes right back up my battery drains so fast since I live in a poor signal area. Id like to use wifi as I am now at home without the data radio uneccessarily draining the battery and then switch off wifi when I leave the house and toggle data back on like I did on the mogul. Any suggestions?

Check out this program... It will toggle Wi-FI on/off depending on location...

I've been using modaco Nodata. On the Alltel touch pro stock it will toggle it off/disable, but data comes back on anyway.

As opposed to turning it off with comm manager?

Re: Truly KILL Data on TP
Use Adv. Config. click menu, more settings, connections. you should see the data connection there. toggle it to disabled and soft rest.

Re: Truly KILL Data on TP
Actually Nodata ended up working. you just have to rerun it if you soft reset as data will reenable. Now my battery life at home under light use has went from 30 mins or an hour to 8-10+ Now that it isnt continually trying to hit data.
