I don't want to ruin everyone's fun, but there is obviously something wrong with that test. Current wifi routers top out at 35 Mbps. I notice a huge improvement in browsing speed when using wifi. If I was really getting 431 Mbps over EVDO, it would be the other way around. The advertised speeds for EVDO are 3 Mbps in "bursts". If Sprint really got EVDO to work at over 100 times it's advertised speed, I'd think they would change there advertisements and claim to be worlds fastest mobile data providers. Also, LTE (4g mobile broadband) demonstrations have yielded results of 144 Mbps. The next generation would not be 4 times slower than the current generation.

I guess the lesson here is that sometimes the internets lie.

I'm generally getting a little bit better speed than my mogul. 800+kpbs average. My Mogul did about 700.

this is the speed i normally get in charlotte using pie. i read somewhere that if you use opera the speeds are incorrect, but pie is more accurate. i get 4m/ps when i use opera

your not bursting anyones bubble, noone said they were accurate, if you could refer back to my earlier post, when i noted that the speeds are obviously incorrect, so lets not go bursting peoples bubbles just yet
