Motorola car charger unacceptable or OK?
I've read a few posts that say non-HTC chargers are not good for the phone. Would this one be OK? It has the virtue of being inexpensive but I can't find any specs for it currently.

Non-HTC chargers are fine, all mini USB chargers will work.

Re: Motorola car charger unacceptable or OK?
that looks identical to the one ive used with my mogul/now TP for nearly a year without issues, though it charges slower so it cant keep up with heavy useage sometimes.

Re: Motorola car charger unacceptable or OK?
yea it definitely should be less susceptible to overheating than the stock charger. just get it with the thought of it more as a charger for when the phone is not in use more than anything.

Re: Motorola car charger unacceptable or OK?
Non-HTC chargers will all charge, but only at ~500mA. If you use nueROM or a rom with no2chem's battery drive cooked in, you can enable fastcharge and get a faster chargerate (see his blog), but make sure you don't fry the port/charger. :P

Re: Motorola car charger unacceptable or OK?
I asked a Sprint Tech support person.. He said car chargers in general reduce the battery life expectancy... I don't know how much merit to give to what he said, but just posting what I heard...
