Re: Gaming controller.

It would be nifty to just whip out your phone [with TV Out cables] and attach it to a TV an play Super Mario...

Re: Gaming controller.

I just found out something nifty. All of the lag in gaming is due to the keyboard. I pulled out my old bluetooth gamepad and mapped to the phone's outside buttons (and the directional buttons of the keyboard - they're set up differently) and all emulators played at near 100% speed. I still think if I used TV Out, speed would go down - but it's now a real possibility.

Some users of the CDMA version of the touchpro had keyboard lag until they flashed to a custom ROM. I'm hoping a custom ROM will come out for the Sprint Touch Pro such that lag goes away - and we can actually start gaming with the keyboard. I don't want to take this bluetooth joystick with me whereever I go.

Re: Gaming controller.

I stumbled across this thread as I was researching bluetooth devices that can possibly control my Touch Pro.
I would love to hook up my TP to my in dash dvd player in my car and watch Slingbox (I didnt think of playing video games), the issue is I need a way to change the channel because the little buttons on the slingbox, to me, is more dangerous to press, then having the actual tv displayed on my dashboard.
A bluetooth video game contoller (or my PS3 wireless keyboard) would be ideal!

Re: Gaming controller.

i came across a cool looking bluetooth game controller called the zeemote, i can't seem to find where to buy it, it might not be out yet. but it seems to be the perfect solution to our ppc gaming needs. also would it be possible to map buttons on our bluetooth headsets to be used for gaming. i have an htc touch right now so it would be cool to get some more hardware buttons to use.
