It's just i got the diamond a week ago than i found out telus will be getting the pro and now i have a week to exchange. I'm so hoping it comes our way this week.

I got it with Bell and it's cool. The only thing you might wanna check is the GPS. As far as I know no one yet found a solution to fix it and from reading the forums 99.9% of the phones have a problem with gps. Registry tweaks help somewhat but don't fix the problem.

someone just posted on hofo that its launching today on telus. therefore should be in stores tomorrow. i dont know this person and we are trying to find out if they got a bulletin or what but more details as they emerge

Got mine today from Telus, finally, I can retire the 6700!! Woo-hoo. And that green background behind the time only shows when you touch the time numbers, and then it disappears.

Unhappy Re: Telus Htc Touch Pro
I have a question for the people who have received the Touch Pro and had the Diamond previous to Touch Pro.

Have the issues with the Diamond been resolved with the Touch Pro:

Overheating, Battery Drain, TF3D not opening, etc

I have updated to latest ROM on Diamond, I still believe the battery still drain's faster than normal

The overheating will never go away unless Telus add the plate to device that Critical speaks of in the Sprint Touch Pro post.

I found the TF3D doing screwy things (not opening after multiple soft resets) about every 3 weeks, I will see if new ROM resolves it.

Also, has anyone has better success with GPS with Touch Pro, with Diamond I am having issues with Holux bluetooth GPS receiver being able to create a serial connection, the internal GPS works somewhat with Diamond, has a small lag.

Feedback would be appreciated.
