update for stability? risks? and other questions

hello. i have a htc touch pro and i find it kind of unstable. mostly in the wifi area and there is often "clicktrough" that's pretty annoying. are there any roms that are more stable?
also there seem to be lot of talk about carriers... how important is this? i live in sweden you see and we dont really have any of the carriers mentioned.

oh. any tips on good video players ?

I hate to turn away someone new but if your in Sweden your probably on a GSM network.. www.xda-developers.com is just like this site but almost ALL GSM.. its a more International stage where as PPC Geeks is mostly people in North America, even more so the UNited States and the CDMA network...

and for video players, Core Player plays just about every video extension there is, its Awesome... but its not free... you can get pretty close if you dont wanna pay by using TCPMP-this is the freeware version before they changed to Core and made it a paid app
