HTC Touch Pro.... Urgent Help
 

Hi,
I get a Tocuh Pro from Russia. So it's all russian. I tried to unlock with verizon file in the post, so i could install a custom ROM in english language http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503 I tried verizon because neither of the others worked. It prompted that the unlock is successful but now i can't turn on the device. More i can not get to bootloader mode. Help me. Do i have to send the phone to trash can????????

In Russia, you dont unlock the phone, THE PHONE UNLOCKS YOU! jk

Did you try to reflash via the card?

No, How can i flash from the card. The phone is off and not responding to any of the buttons even the bootloader can not start. Nothing. It's a piece of trash at the moment on my table.

if you cant turn it on then your screwed. only thing i can tell you is to try and charge it for a while and then try to turn it on. you can also try removing the battery and reinstalling it and try powering it up. if none of them work you have officially ans successfully BRICKED a TP. where are you that you bought a phone from Russia? the only problem i can think of is most of Europe is GSM with very small areas that are CDMA. if you tried to flash as CDMA rom on a GSM phone i believe that could indeed brick it.

if you have a charged battery and it wont turn on then nothing is going to help you. try pressing the soft reset button on the bottom of the phone next to the charger port. that will turn some phones on. it works on my VZN TP. if that doesnt work and nothing else turns the phone on im afraid you have bricked it and there is nothing that you can do to fix it.

i agree. sounds like you got yourself a fancy russian "the swiss army knive" brick. Can use it as a door stopper, paperweight, or hell take out a crazed iphone user! LOL
