How do I change my TP's MTU?

I've finally got my Xbox 360 all set up to connect to the internet with my TP through my computer, but I did a test on the Xbox and it said that it connected to the internet but not Xbox Live because my MTU must be at least 1364. I'm guessing that the phone's MTU is less than that, so how do I change it? Thanks in advance.

Re: How do I change my TP's MTU?

I installed it on my phone, and I don't see anything to change MTU. Maybe there's a setting like that in the payed versions, but I'm looking for a free fix if possible.

Re: How do I change my TP's MTU?

Try SKTools, it is also a paid version BUT it will allow you to change UP TO 6 settings.

The Setting you are looking for its located on SKTools > Tune Up > Network > MTU for Cellular Line (8th field down)

Re: How do I change my TP's MTU?

I tried that at 1500 to no avail. I also tried cellular line 2 which didn't work either. Any other ideas?

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50255; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

well you also have to consider that tethering from a tp to a xbox is not very appealing latency-wise.

MTU is maximum transmission unit, basically the largest block of data that can be sent at a time on the network. Think of it as the largest piece that can fit on the tubes without causing major issues (like data loss)
