Yeah, as posted in another thread, that was the culprit. The SRS WOW. Totally removed it, and problem solved. Although it was 8hrs of before I found out what it was, all has been restored to normal.

Same issue. Haven't uninstalled it yet. I thought it had something to do with the SSK kitchen I put on it. I went back to stock ROM and SPL. I was just about to return it to the store... Thank you all for the heads up.

My problem was fixed. I got my phone swapped out for a HTC Hero at the Sprint Store.

I am finally off the sinking ship and onto the Android boat. I had been an early adopter with Pocket PC 2000. I can't take the headaches and lack of innovation anymore. This bad screen was my last straw that got me to make the jump finally.
