SMS Spacing

I have noticed in WinMo 6.5 there is a lot more spacing when viewing all messages in outlook. This is probably to be more finger friendly, but I would rather see more on the screen at a time.

Are there any solutions to revert back to seeing more items on screen?



On a side note, I am on a quest to find the best SMS messaging client. So far:

1. WinMo - works, just old, not fancy looking, no thrills, spacing too much
2. HTC Messenger - Looks nice, too slow to be useful, landscape switching annoying.
3. SMS Chat - Checking it out now, seems worthwhile, not the most eye friendly, trouble getting it default client

Any thoughts on SMS clients is greatly appreciated. I'm looking for something that works well, yet looks nice.

On your side note, try a new rom. I was on the Oct 22 Energyrom, and the HTC sms client was slow and laggy. I'm now on the Nov 25 Energy rom, and it's much faster, has all the old functions back (click on links/phone numbers, character counter, etc...). Not buggy like before. Only problem is no mms, but you said sms.

I'm on the 28005 build and it is still very laggy when loading up a handful of messages in a thread. Perhaps I am doing something wrong?

I've been searching far and wide, and I can't seem to find a cure. I feel like it should be a simple registry hack to change the spacing.

Help anyone?
