MP3 Trimmer + 6.5.X = Fail?

Lately, on every 6.5.X rom I have flashed (EnergyROMs and ROMs i made in kitchens) mp3 trimmer simply hangs on the little loading circle (can't think of what to call this right now) when I try to save the ringtone or set it as my default. Can anyone test and confirm that this isn't just me?

using mightyrom and the one linked to in his faq works fine...

MightyROM is 6.5, I'm referring to the newer 6.5.X builds, in the most recent case, 6.5.3 (28002). I have never had any issues with MP3 trimmer on 6.1 or 6.5. Thanks for helpin out though. So anyone else got anything to say about this? I've now discovered that if I leave it long enough (10 minutes or so) it will create the ringtone, but this DEFINITELY should not take that long.

So I help people on this forum whenever I can, yet lately I find when I need help my thread ends up on page 5 with no responses. Can someone help me out here? I just wanna know if anyone else has seen this issue.
