Catch 22 on HSPL Unlocker - Help!
 

I use the stock 'Internet Sharing' as my only Internet connection. However, after the HSPL validates my license, it pops up an error complaining that my phone is not synced up to my PC, which cannot be done without shutting down Internet Sharing - And thus losing my Internet connection by which the license is validated.

This was with Automatic mode. Using Manual mode results in the RUU giving error 246 'Device Not Responding'.

WiFi won't help - I only have a desktop PC. And for the curious, yes, I have plugged in a WiFi adapter (both USB and internal at various times) to look for available networks - My building is built in such a way that WiFi signals drop to unusable levels within ~20 feet.

Yeah, but I doubt it would help - Just an old Moto Q9c, on which the stock 'Internet Sharing' app mysteriously died around 9/25/09, after working flawlessly for nearly a month. (Error 67, no conventional registry entries to change/delete.) I could try loading PDANet on it...

if you got no internet I would do that, or find another phone that can. Then do an esn swap, connect to internet through "new" phone and run hspl.. Ya, I know a lot of steps but if you want it tonight I would do that otherwise wait till tomorrow when you get a chance to go somewhere with a pc
