Volume slider is gone
On my Vzw TP2, you know that cool volume slider when you press volume up or volume down buttons? It's now turned into the old boring classic volume control, the one that was on the old 6700, 6800, and others. How can I get it back? If you guys don't know what I'm talking about, I'll post a screen capture.

Re: Volume slider is gone
have you tried to reboot ur phone to reload TouchFLO.
I assume the classic one means the winmo default, that means touchflo is not working over it correctly. |
Re: Volume slider is gone
I have soft reset a few times and nothing. I just took off TF and then restarted. Still nothing. :(

I lost the volume slider when I installed a custom taskbar ...

Re: Volume slider is gone
yeah I'm guessing you installed a custom taskbar. There are only a few custom taskbars that work correctly on verizon

Re: Volume slider is gone
At this time there are NO taskbar's that work correctly on ANY Touch Pro 2. They only way they are going to work is if they were built with THAT carrier's specific DLL's when rebuilding for custom icons.
I have even found that programs like PocketShield screw up Bluetooth and the Speakerphone. When I have PS installed Speakerphone doesn't work by flipping the phone. As much as I like those programs, they seem to break something to fix something else. |

I also found that the Verizon DLL is also the cause of the SMS notification differences between Sprint and Verizon TP2's. Test it by using a default from each and you will see what I mean. If you use Sprint's, you'll be able to use standard registry change to disable the notification, but if you use Verizon's, you'll have to use the Verizon specific reg changes. |
