No, just tested this, the gsm radio doesnt get used by this app either, not fun huh, I have tested with an at&t gophone prepaid sim and the verizon tp2. Sorry, if anyone figures a workaround out be sure to post it please. For either radio cdma or gsm, that would be appreciated

Are you looking for Navigation or the additional features? Garmin XT works fine on both CDMA and GSM radios.

I am looking to make money by logging cell towers and wifi. Navizon isn't really any good for gps, just making money.

As long as you are driving into new areas, yes. You can get points for APs and Towers that have already been logged by someone else. Less points, only 1 and 2 vs. 3 and 15 if you are the first to find them. There is one exception where you don't get points for previously map locations, that's in Manhattan.

Hmm, I can't seem to get my GoPhone sim to even recognize in my Verizon TP2...
