Re: 3000 & 4500mAh Mugen extended batteries for TP2

I'm definitely not interested in making this phone bulkier or heavier. Also if you get a battery that makes the phone thicker - things like the clear case armour aren't going to fit anymore.

Not to mention the use of a Targus Backpack case as your cell phone case.

I'll hang out for Seidio to come out with a non-case modifying battery or I'll go with a battery bank (not necessarily HTC's). Only *real* use I have for the extra extra battery is for long hikes or long flights with the multimedia stuff going. Rest of the time, I can top off from the car or wall charger.

Re: 3000 & 4500mAh Mugen extended batteries for TP2

Honestly, I don't care about size. Here's what my Titan's been carrying for over a year, a 3600mah Mugen. It actually makes the phone a bit sturdier and easier to hold when typing.

Re: 3000 & 4500mAh Mugen extended batteries for TP2

you dont have one yet... this is bigger than a mogul... these are thick, and are far superior in that strudy feel over the TP1... i still have TP1s on other lines... eveytime i touch it since i got a TP2 it seems tiny and very breakable now...

tp2s are expectionally well built compared to tp1s... i understand if you need the battery life you need the battery life.... but you certainly wont need it so it fits better in your hand

Re: 3000 & 4500mAh Mugen extended batteries for TP2

Good news! I got an email back from Mugen, they expect to have batteries and covers out by the end of the month for the TP2's with 3.5mm jacks. I suspect the batteries will be the same, but the cover will fit properly and will be in matching color as well. That's not bad actually, give's me ample time to test and get acquainted with the TP2 stock battery, as well as save up for the high price tag I suspect the Mugen one will have, lol.

Re: 3000 & 4500mAh Mugen extended batteries for TP2

Pocket solutions is listing a $60 extended battery for the TP2 as coming soon, no info on its mah rating or if the cover will fit the 3.5mm version. There's also a 3000mah for $30 that is the first result if you google "touch pro2 extended battery", also doesnt fit the 3.5mm jack.

Mugen has the 4500mah in stock, still nothing on a CDMA 3.5mm jack compatible cover though.

Re: 3000 & 4500mAh Mugen extended batteries for TP2

So here's a question to all of you. Does anyone know of any site that has the charging cradle? I've also seen that has a charger behind it for the extra battery itself. I only seen one for the europeon version. Anything for the Sprint/Verizon version?
