Do you guys fully charge the battery before first use? Or do you just fire it up. Or do you start charging the battery and then turn it on anyway to play with it while it is plugged in?

Re: Sprint Touch Pro 2 Is Here who Got There's

I'm waiting on mine gets delivered by UPS.

Funny I woke up like 5 this morning, too excited to sleep in, and when I sit on the John and check the status I saw "LATE AIRPLANE", my heart skipped a beat.

By the time I got to downtown office and check it again, it was magically "OUT FOR DELIVERY". Heh, who knows how soon the UPS guy would show up, since the UPS hub in downtown is like what, a few blocks away.

Oh yeah I packed my Nikon D90 with me today so... pictures will be put up as soon as I get it.

Now to see if I can still keep it on SERO F&F 500.

Off topic, but how do you like your D90. I bought myself one back in March and love it. Just ordered the new AF-S 35mm DX fixed lens that will arrive on 09/08th. Along with some UV filters to protect the glass.

You should just turn it on and play with it until the battery almost dies and then let if fully charge. This is whats best for the battery and you will get the most out of it this way. The battery has a memory and if you constantly charge it when it doesn't need to be charged you will not get optimal battery life.

Oh good choice! The 35mm Primer lens is one of the sharpest lens for the DX-format cameras!

How do I like my D90? Well Let's just put it this way, ever since I moved on from my dad's good old N8008 Film, I spent a LOT of weekends out taking photos. Not to mention I spent so much $$$ as much as I did with the TPs lol.

Here are some stuff I took with the D90: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33478019@N06/sets/

I'd assume you have a kit lens and the newly 35mm f/1.8 primer now? If you want to make it a serious hobby, do consider get other lenses as well.

What you are talking about is for nickel based batteries not lithium ions. What you suggested could cause more harm than good. With lithiums you can keep them charged, they don't suffer the same memory effects as nickel batteries. I think they do recommend you run it down once for every 30 times you fully charge it. But under normal use just keep it charged all the time.
