That's right... I noticed that when I installed WSTask... my normal programs shortcut is gone and my start button hard key stopped working.

Re: Start menu

I read the first post and am looking for the exact opposite. I just got my Verizon TP2 today and I HATE the new Start Menu that opens the TF3D style menu. I want the old style Start menu back. Is there a easy way to do this? Thanks!

* Update *
I found the solution on another site. You have to edit the registry to the following:

HKLM\Software\HTC\EnlargeMenu
EnableManilaStartMenu = 1 (TouchFlo 3d Start Menu)
or
EnableManilaStartMenu = 0 (Default WM 6.1 Start Menu)

Re: Start menu

I have a friend that just purchased the T-Mobile version of the TP2 and I tried the above registry editing and it didn't work. After a soft reset there was no start menu at all. Did anyone find a solution to have the TF3D start menu on the T-Mobile version? Thanks!

Re: Start menu

I tried the reg change on my verizon tp2 and it didnt work. what i got was the same tf3d style screen with all of the programs displayed instead of just a few of them. Im still looking for a way to get the old 6.1 start menu on 6.5
