Verizon to ATT
 

I just got my phone unlocked today. I called verizon they gave me a code to unlock the sim. I was on Energy's ROM. I switched to GSM only mode. I am trying to get a MMS and it doesnt seem to work. I go to change the settings in the arcsoft settings but new and set defualt are greyed out. However, ATT is listed as defualt in the settings. Can I Perform a regedit to fix this?

It pops up a MMS but it says no subject and when i open it it says " message not found"

Oh and if i flash my ROM is my SIM still unlocked?

alirght. I got them ungreyed and the settings were right. Most of those settings it somehow set itself. I went in and changed the password for my web connection im about to test if this is going to work.

Ok... i think this is a different problem entirely... It says recieving message i watched it download to 100% then it said NEW MMS so i open it and it said "message not found...." Is arksoft saving it in one place. then when i try to view it trying to open it from elsewhere?\

Looks like i need to try and reinstall it.

Is your device SIM unlocked for US networks or just unlocked for non-US networks? If the latter then you will have to pay for the SIM unlocker to completely unlock it.

Well im using it on ATT so im assuming its US networks\\
it connects to towers and recieves calls and data just fine. Its just MMS

wow why switch to at$t from VZW? coverage won't be that good and u probly won't be able to get a 3G signal since the CDMA TP2s do not support 3G on US GSM networks

:D funny you ask. I am a college student on my single mother's phone plan... she worked for verizon and got a 50% discount on a 180 dollar plan... Now we do not get this discount.. :D so we switch to att because in louisiana ATT has comparable coverage. And 180 got knocked to 95 because i get a 18percent discount with att. And the only thing that got cut was my unlimited data which is now 200mb/month. So.... 180 dollars is now 95.... unlimited data to 200mb with more wifi use wasn't to big of deal for me. WOOT +1 for me.

Oh and because the people that work for verizon are nazis. :D Just ask any former employee who is not top of the coorp food chain.


EDIT: tried that Luzboss's solution and it didnt help. As well as the other posts above. Still is giving me an error "message not found" when i open the MMS message

bump... Ok i REALLY don't get this. I even tried reinstalling Arcsoft. :(

Ok i didnt buy the SIM unlocker. I went through Verizon and typed that code into the secury app. Is this the reason for my issues?
