Question about the Touch Pro 2 Sim Card

Im not quite sure if this is the correct forum to post this but I had a rather odd question that I couldnt seem to find a definite answer to. I have a Sprint Touch Pro 2 with the SIM Card in it and I was wondering if its possible to take the sim card out and use it in another unlocked handset.

but that was for a verizon phone. That thread mentions something about a roaming sim card, if the sprint one is also setup like that, is their a way to make it so its not?

that thread link you posted answered your question. both verizon and sprint sim cards are for international use ONLY...meaning its a roaming sim card. even if you were successful in re-programming that thing, it wont do any good because it wouldnt work. because sprint runs on CDMA technology, not GSM. besides. you'll need to activate it first. and the only way to do that is to call sprint. and even if you did talk to them, the only time they'll activate the sim is if you were going to subscribe to their international service when going to another country.
