Outlook Contacts Help

My stituation is thus, previously I had an Outlook sync with my work's microsoft server. Since then I have left their office and no longer am syncing with their server. The problem is the only copy of my contacts are in my phone. I have a new job with new server info that I could set up, but for the life of me I can't simply get rid of the old sync without deleting my contacts in my phone at the same time. Simply put, I have a dead active sync connection to an old server and I am trying to back up my contacts before assigning a new active sync account. Does anyone know how to back up my contacts? I have tried using SIM card but as you know it strips out the content to one entry per number, work, cell, home, ect. which is not helpful. Thank you.

you can do two things:
1. use myphone to have a backup just in case something happens.

2. get Outlook 2007 installed on your pc without exchange support. Sync, it will download all contacts to outlook. Then you can do whatever you want with them.

When I connect the phone to active sync it "Synchronized" but when I open up outlook 2007 none of the contacts from the phone are in outlook? any suggestions?

Try going into settings and untick contacts and sync....then go back and check the box again and re-sync....
