SuperNoobDork with easy Q's

When I'm done installing a .cab file on my PPC, can I / should I delete the .cab file? Will it free up more space and make it run smoother?

I would say move the .cab off your main device since it's really not needed. I keep my .cabs backed up on the sd card.

+1

I keep all the programs I know are good (no memory leaks, work fine, etc) on the SD card in a folder. After flashing a new ROM I simply run each cab.

Also, I recommend that all programs be installed into main memory... there's absolutely no reason not to since there is so much free main memory after a new flash (>100MB).

One more thing...how can I remove (if possible) TeleNav from the 6800 after I've done the factory ROM?

Eh, Depends what it is. If it doesn't run on it's own I put to main memory but if it's something that I open and close only when needed, like my pocket Kama Sutra for instance, I keep it on the card.

True dat. At least she's hot looking, unlike the cow Bill Clinton fooled around with. If you're gonna do something dangerous, might as well do it right.
