Try changing the video format. I dont think it works if its set to H.263

I have created an OEM of all the settings found here...i have not tested it yet...since i just made it...

I made theses changes on my Titan and they worked perfectly! so i exported the Registries and made it into OEM...hope it is useful for someone...it is in zip format...enjoy!

After the registry change, I've noticed that both in L and CIF, the videos freeze a lot, not offering anywhere near usable video like S or M. It acts almost like a cheap webcam, freezing and then rapidly catching up with itself.

What gives?

There was a video camera registry edit in the CAB style thread http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...ight=cab+style

Didn't seem to make much of a difference. Played with the settings and now videos small enough to send via sMMS look OK.

Thanks, I guess I wasn't waiting long enough before I soft reset, I waited 5 mins and that worked great. Now can anyone tell me the best video recording settings or what works best for them?

Its a shame they go through all this trouble to put the camera hardware into their ppc's, only to make it useless to any serious photographer by giving it a ****ty lens.

agreed. what an abysmal piece of crap this camera/video cam is..

to the poster above.. now that you have the larger video capture size, don't bother.. i have not been able to play back a recorded video in WMP, or TCPMP, regardless of settings, that doesn't chop like a trainwreck, using Large or CIF.....
the larger settings are basically useless.. as is the camera in general..
