slightly off topic but to answer the iphone question, I have a feeling the verizon "iphone" competitor the guy was talking about is the LG Prada..not the 6800 (since the 6800 is a different form factor, sort of)

The iphone competition is a product from LG similar to the prada... The sku for the 6800 is XV6800 and I think the sku for the i760 is SCHI760ZDK(i'll check on this one)...

OK, so now us Sprint guys get to be jealous. You may have to wait a month, but you'd be guaranteed rev-A while we just have to hope that Sprint lives up to it's word. Of course it won't matter to me as Sprint will never upgrade my area to rev-0 nevermind rev-A.

So I just got back from the Verizon Upward Mobility Launch. This event was basically a REV-A launch for Verizon in the Phoenix Valley. Many software app venders were there to display their wireless apps capability on REV-A. But was most interesting was the two new phones we will be seeing with Verizon in the next 30 days.

First was the Samsung , it was definitely a nice device, especially being able to access a hard dial pad without sliding the phone open. The demo unit in Samsung's booth was only running WM5 but the rep stated that it will have WM6 and REV-A on release. The release date stated by this rep was before the end of the month of June!!!

Second was the US Starcom XV-6800 (HTC Titan). This phone was sweet!!! I took some pictures with my XV-6700 as posted below (not very good pics). Very thin and the assisted screen lift was great. I will be purchasing this phone. The demo unit the rep had only had WM5 but he stated that on release it will have WM6 and REV-A. The release date stated by this rep will be July 14th!!!

My Verizon Business rep is also telling me either July 16th or 18th. I should be receiving an email here in the next week when he gets more details.

I know there has been very little info about the xv6800, but does anyone know if indeed it will actually have 96 MB of RAM as was posted in the initial display? I'm hoping that since their are a few cosmetic changes to the P4000, that Verizon also added the extra program memory.

Nevermind, it looks like it'll only have 64 MB of RAM as posted by Engadget's pictures of the vx6800.
