Mogul would not leave emergency mode!
 

Today, I had the pleasure of calling 911 to report that my car had been broken into. I called 911 and had no issues connecting and the entire callw as fine. However, after I ended the call, the phone remained in EMERGENCY MODE and gave me no option to exit it. It would not let me make any calls (other than to 911), or send a text message. The only way to leave emergency mode was to do a soft reset. Has anyone else ever experienced this before?

i do not know about pda;s but on all my old flip phones it will not until i rested which is good. image u dial it and hang up its like a beacon to the police. what i hate it makes that noise so if ur a hostage or held up they hear it.

After a 911 call it stays in emergency mode to continue reporting your location via E911. Just incase your life is in jeopardy or something. Soft reset will take it out of emergency mode. Bottom line... its doing exactly what it is supposed to do.

I actually like that feature. the 911 operator is supposed to end it once they have determined you are not in danger or need help anymore but my question is HOW are THEY supposed to determine that!!! lol
