Rom Upgrade??

I have the old version and i wanna upgrade but im afraid i might mess something up can someone hrlp me out??

there are a lot of old ones, you need to be more specific

are you running the official version, or a custom unlocked rom?

If it is an unlocked custom rom, you need the relocker and then run the exe from here.

otherwise, if you have an official rom, go here and just run the exe.

You will now be upgraded to 3.35 and have gps and rev-a enabled on your device.

one more ? Actice syne NEVER saves my contacts so will i lose them?

unfortunately, yes. however, there are programs that will save that. look up PIM backup. It should save your contacts to an sd card. then just upgrade, reinstall the backup program and use its restore feature.

You can go in under File Explorer, copy the PIM file. Then go to your Storage Card, save the PIM file there. After the ROM update, go into your My Device directory and find your PIM file, rename it to pim2. Copy the PIM file from your Storage Card and paste it into your device's directory. Soft reset your phone and you should have all your contacts back, you can then delete the pim2 file.

Can't you just sync your contacts to Outlook? I do that before I flash anytime and I have backups just in case.

so my phone doesnt need to be unlocked to run this rom the 3.35
