Stuck in bootloader-but have never changed ROMS

My 6800 is stuck at the tri-colored screen after pluggin it in to the charger. It says TITA100 SPL-1.04 0000 at the top, and the bottom says "serial".

The only thing I have ever done to this phone is the Today Homeplug (months ago). I have pulled the battery to no avail.

After searching through here, it seems all the solution and the "exit bootloader" rar is for folks who have flashed their phones to new roms.

any suggestions?

What exactly were you doing to get to the tricolor?

Re: Stuck in bootloader-but have never changed ROMS

Right on. I used the original UNI Exit Bootloader to get out of the screen, then I installed the official Alltel updated ROM from HTC's website.

Now I get stuck in the bootload screen each time that I reboot, but I can use the exit program to move on.

Any idea why it still hangs now?

I originally got stuck when I powered down and plugged the phone in the charger.

Thanks for your help, and thanks to whoever made that exit program.
