WiFi WILL NOT TURN OFF! and screen issue
Yea... strange problem. I am trying to turn the WiFi on my phone off, but it will not go off. The LED flashes even after the comm manager says its off. The network icon is always on but when i click on it, it shows nothing... I went ahead and deleted my WEP settings and still nothing. I've reset my phone many times (soft-reset) and still nothing. I've also made sure that apps like PhoneAlarm and SpbPhone suite aren't managing the network.
Another problem. I don't know if it's only my phone, but does anyone else's screen faintly flash a tint of red when you tap it? Its more noticable on a white screen with a brighter light. And also when the backlight goes off (but the backlight is still on but very faint) the screen flickers in different brightness levels. Anyone have these issues? EDIT: and also I cannot disable the wifi network detected setting. I click options>dont show this message again but it still keeps coming up with my network!

Did you try the switch on the side?

Oh my god. Are you kidding right now, AM I THAT STUPID? THAT WAS IT!
Damn this is embarassing! I was looking into the registry and everything, but all it was was a stupid SWITCH! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Well, in my case the side switch IS off and my Mogul still wants to connect to every wireless network it sees (slut!). Switching it on then back off makes it ignore that particular wireless network, but it'll try to mate with the very next one it sees. Hard on the battery, that.
