A couple questions on my mogul

i recently got a mogul and have some questions. this is my first ppc so please take it easy. im a TOTAL NOOB at this.

well i have already got some programs on my mogul from this site. so far i have Yahoo Go, TCPMP(for youtube), Flash video bundle (for youtube), WM6 today screens, HTC Home, SIP change, touchpal, mobile email.

i tried to get the scroll to unlock like the iphone but couldnt get it to work at all. is it possible to just get the scroll to lock and nothing else from the iphone for now?

what other types of today screens can i get. ive seen some peoples and the time is on fire and different colors.

and one more thing......my alarm will not go off at the time i have it for. i set the alarm and it doesnt go off till the screen comes back on. EX. i have it set for 6:30 am. it wont go off till my GF calls to wake me up for class at about 6:35......kinda sad i kno. lmao. is there any solution for this? and some of my programs are running slow. i click the text button on the top of the mogul and it takes at least a good 5-10 seconds for it to get up.

@ S2U - check XDA...A_C has released an awesome slide to unlock. I think the version is 0.60 right now.

@ Themes - those are called TSK files and they change the background, as well as font color, etc. The can be found all over the place.

@ alarm - upgrade to the newest ROM released last night and you'll be set.

@ slow programs...make sure you completely close out of the programs, as WM6 leaves them running in the background, which causes the PPC to slow down.

I'm not a Mogul expert, but I think that the alarm issue is a known bug. I believe the newest ROM fixes that though. You can find download links and an in depth discussion of the new ROM here:

As for the iPhone unlock feature, try this program (cabs are in the first post):

There are dozens of different ways/programs to customize your today screen. You can look at Wisbar Advance and Wisbar Advanced Desktop from http://lakeridgesoftware.com/

or you can create your own theme with software like this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

This is really just a starting point. There are so many different things you can do with your phone/ppc. Good luck.

i just saw the thread on the upgrade ROM. im gonna do that when i get home now.

as for the s2u and the themes do you have any links? ive been lookin but since im a noob idk which ones to get.

i always close out all programs. if i open the text messages and close it without completely closing then it opens fast.
