What is spedbmonitor.lnk?

I have a file called speedbmonitor.lnk in my Windows/Startup directory. What is it??

Look at the properties of it and see what it points to. That's a shortcut. Sounds like something you installed because I've never seen it on my device.

Do you have a program called SpeedBooster??? I believe I had that in my windows folder when I had SpeedBooster on my device...I don't think it works that well with 6.5 so I uninstalled with a few minor problems I had to fix.

I've got SKTools and I don't have that file anywhere on my Imagio.

That is it he is right... someway knowingly or unknowingly you installed Speedbooster 6.5 on your phone its actually a good app. i have it and that is exactly what the startup .ink is named. check your settings/all settings/system/remove programs and see if SpeedBooster is in there.

that's it! Someone on this thread said it wasn't very compatible with this phone. Is that the case - should I remove it? I thought I saw posts about it making good (performance-enhancing tweaks) on the Imagio. If I remove it, do the tweaks it made (registry) get un-done?

i havent made any reg tweaks with it but yes if you un-install it will take away whatever speedbooster touched performance wise.. i havent tested the Benchmark myself however others have and some noticed differences and some didnt. either way it doesnt effect my CPU at all or ram with it running in the background.. so im keeping it as it doesnt take up space and might actually be helping
