Today screen vs. touch-flow?

ok, I just got my Imagio and it has a very different interface on it - is this the TouchFlow thing people are talking about? Anyway, I'd like to have the normal WM Today screen, on which I put Resco Today plug-in. Can that work on this phone? Can I get rid of the touch-flow thing and have a normal Windows Mobile Today screen, Start menu, file explorer, etc. etc.?

Re: Today screen vs. touch-flow?

Go to the TouchFlo settings menu then at the bottom click on All Settings. On the next screen press the Today icon. On the next screen, change over to the Items tab (bottom) then uncheck TouchFLO 3D in the list then press ok (top right of screen). All done

Re: Today screen vs. touch-flow?

Thanks, that's great! But the Start menu still looks different (perhaps this is a new WM 6.5 thing?) - for example, it's a graphical screen (instead of a dropdown menu) and it doesn't have the "Programs" item. Am I still running some sort of shell, or is that how WM is now, and where's Programs?

Re: Today screen vs. touch-flow?

Yeah that's the new Win6.5 screen. It's new for me too so I don't know yet if there's a way to get a 6.1 look to it yet, haven't checked into that at all lol. I use SPB MS3 and have it override the Start button so I don't deal much with the standard 6.5 interface

Re: Today screen vs. touch-flow?

Thanks for mentioning about overriding the Start Menu with Mobile Shell. I didn't know I could do that until you mentioned it. Unfortunately, it only seems to work with the soft start button on the screen. The hardware start menu button still takes me to the new WM 6.5 start menu. I wish they had made all of the buttons programmable.

Re: Today screen vs. touch-flow?

You could always give AE Button Plus a shot. I haven't messed with this program since my early Omnia days but it might be worth a shot and could possibly do what you're lookin for.
