the Whitestone is the CDMA Version of the Diamond 2. That is why, its called Whitestone, that is why it has a bigger screen and bigger specs.

Whitestone will be released to Sprint has well. but sprint will get this device, no idea on release date at this time though.

I Like the Whitestone way better than the original Diamond 2 that was released in Europe. I currently have the original Sprint Diamond and I'm eagerly awaiting the Hero, Touch Pro 2 or the Diamond 2 (only if it looks like the Whitestone). So Sprint please hurry and release some new HTC phone so I can get rid of this old Diamond and show off my new toy too all the those damn iphone users.

All this phone needs is the processor changed to the Snapdragon and a capacitive screen. Hey, with these changes the phone could be called the HTC Firestone. Maybe, the HTC Firestone is Sprint's version of the Diamond 2 - wishful thinking!!

Firestone will have Snapdragon, but it will be only running 600 Mhz
