Re: Imagio Poor Build Quality

I got mine at the VZW store on the MS campus in Redmond the day it arrived and I have had nothing go wrong with the hardware. My proximity sensor is suspect or broken but when I requested a replacement they sent me a device that looked about a year older. I sent it back and have been happy with the same little brick ever since.

Lol the little chrome ring protector for the camera just fell off the back cover of my phone. Just ordered a replacement battery cover

Re: Imagio Poor Build Quality

I'm on my second. I had the power connector for the charger go bad. Got a 'like new' and it has worked good so far but the menu key seems a bit sticky. We'll see......

Re: Imagio Poor Build Quality

My only issue is that the battery cover was a total B-TCH to remove at first. It's gotten a little easier now. I haven't had the stuck keys issue because I have a film placed over the keys so that they stay together and down but i have a friend who's had his keys all stick or pop off even.

Just wait until it starts creaking...

That's my second major complaint (first being the lack of a dedicated standby button) about this phone, I would much rather have had it be hard to open instead of creaking whenever I squeeze the back cover. Apparently putting masking tape under the cover can fix this, but I haven't tried it yet.

A business card cut to size works for me. No creaks, very solid feel. My typical fix for all my phones. Perfect thickness. Electrical tape well placed is also good.

Re: Imagio Poor Build Quality

I switched to the Imagio the week of Thanksgiving. I've only replaced it once, and that was because it would not recognize that I removed my headset. My second one has been fine, despite a very small scratch. I understand what you mean by the back being creaking, though. I'm not sure if it is me or the case, but I feel like I squeeze my phone too hard every time I take it out of my pocket.
