Re: HTC Hero cdma workshop

Go the keypad in your device and type ##3424 and send. This will enable the phones DM router and put it in to diagnostic mode. Cdma WS should then recognize it and you will be able to connect.

Google the HTC Hero drivers and install them.

^This. Then I believe it is ##diag# (so # instead of send)

If that doesn't work grab qpst and open qpst configuration (while in diag mode on the phone) click add com port un-check the box at the bottom left of the pop-up, an unknown or surf com should come up click it and hit add. Remember the com port and switch to it in CDMA workshop then close qpst and hit connect in CDMA workshop.

Sorry if that is confusing, I'm trying to explain from memory.

Let me know if it works or you need better instructions.

Yup, also you might need to delete the com in QPST before closing. This fully closes that port.
